Why is the free queue so long?
Demand outgrew the review capacity. Every listing is written by hand, pricing is checked against the live site, and one person does that work, so the queue moves at the speed of real editorial rather than the speed of submissions. We would rather be honest about the wait than quietly sit on your entry. The queue number above is updated as we work through it.
Can I submit a tool I don't own?
Yes. Agencies, freelancers, and content marketers occasionally submit tools they're not affiliated with. We treat every submission the same way.

Is a paid listing a sponsored listing?
The listing itself is not. Free or Spotlight, every entry meets the same editorial standard and is written the same way, and the $49 doesn't buy a place we wouldn't otherwise give you or change what we write. The Friday Brief slot that comes with Spotlight is a paid placement, so it is labelled as sponsored in the email.
Can I pay to skip the queue after I have already submitted?
Yes. Email us with your tool name and we'll send you the Spotlight link. Your original submission stays as it is, it just moves to the front.
What if my tool changes or I want to update the listing?
Email us with the changes. A new pricing tier or an added feature is no problem. For a substantial repositioning, get in touch and we'll take a look.
