Dottr

An AI contract teammate you CC on the deal email

Contract drafting that lives in the email thread instead of another app. CC it on the deal, it drafts and chases the signature, and it costs a dollar a contract rather than a monthly seat.

Dottr turns the moment someone says yes on email into a signed contract without anyone opening a new tool. You CC dottr@dottr.io on the deal thread and it drafts the contract from your templates and the conversation itself, reviews the terms, and flags anything risky in plain English rather than legalese. From there it sends for signature, chases whoever hasn’t signed, and files the signed copy.

Signers don’t need an account, which removes the usual stall where a prospect hits a login wall and the deal sits for a week. It also answers questions about past contracts and tracks renewal dates, so the archive stays useful after signing rather than becoming a folder nobody opens.

Pricing is the interesting part for anyone who sends a handful of contracts a year. The first five are free with no card, then it’s a dollar each, dropping to around 90 cents in prepaid packs, with no subscription, no monthly minimum, and no per-seat fee. Unused contracts don’t expire. For occasional senders, that’s a very different proposition to carrying a signature platform on a monthly plan.

It’s deliberately not a contract lifecycle platform. There are no clause libraries, approval chains, or procurement integrations, and in-house legal teams running structured review processes will outgrow it fast. It’s aimed at founders and small sales teams who currently send contracts from a Google Doc and hope.

What we like

  • Works inside the email thread, so there's no new app or seat to buy
  • Signers e-sign without creating an account
  • A dollar per contract with no subscription, and unused credits don't expire
  • Plain-English risk flags aimed at founders without a lawyer on retainer

What to watch

  • No clause libraries, approval workflows, or procurement integrations
  • Not built for complex multi-party negotiations
  • Email-first by design, so there's no browser drafting flow
