Aira

AI sales agent that replaces CRM admin with continuous account intelligence

A genuinely different take on sales tooling. Instead of waiting for you to update it, Aira monitors your accounts continuously and surfaces the moments worth acting on. Premium price.

Aira is one of the more interesting reframings of the sales intelligence category in recent memory. Instead of a tool that waits for you to update it, Aira treats every account in your portfolio as a continuously monitored relationship. It scans email and calendar history to map your accounts automatically, then watches for buying signals across financial reports, news feeds, and corporate changes.

Who it’s for

B2B sales professionals managing 50-500+ company relationships where research time and timing matter. Fractional CROs, boutique agency founders, mid-market AEs carrying dense books. Anyone whose typical week includes hours of pre-call research and CRM updates that don’t directly produce pipeline.

If you’re running formal sales operations with strict pipeline reporting, dashboards, and forecast accuracy targets, Aira isn’t replacing your CRM. If you’re doing your own outbound and want better signals, this is the tool.

Notably, Aira is European-focused. Built on Upsales’ data infrastructure (the parent company is spinning Aira out as a separately listed entity in 2026), it has deep coverage of 30M+ European companies including financial data, ownership structure, and continuous monitoring of millions of news articles daily. US-only sales motions will get less from it than European or pan-European ones.

What it actually does well

The setup story is the real differentiator. Connect Google or Outlook, and within two minutes Aira has scanned your email history, mapped contacts to companies, and pulled in revenue bands, employee counts, and board structures. No CSV uploads. No data hygiene project. The traditional CRM onboarding tax just disappears.

Continuous monitoring is the second strength. Aira watches every account in your portfolio for events that matter: funding rounds, leadership changes, expansion news, financial filings. When something relevant happens, it surfaces the moment with context. For sales people whose competitive edge is timing, this is structurally valuable.

Meeting intelligence is included by default. Aira joins scheduled calls, records audio, and returns structured summaries with attendees, decisions, and tasks logged to the right account record. Compared to running Gong or Fireflies separately, this is cleaner and cheaper.

The mobile-first interface is unusual in B2B sales tools. Five tabs (Portfolio, Discover, Assistant, Today, Intel) with a search bar at the base for natural-language queries. It feels like a genuine 2026 product rather than a desktop CRM with a phone wrapper.

Where it gets awkward

The €149/user/month price point makes Aira a serious commitment. For experienced closers, the math typically works (one closed deal usually pays for a year). For junior SDRs with light pipelines, the ROI is harder.

iOS-only is the current friction. Android is reportedly launching May 2026, but until then Android users are locked out of the mobile experience and limited to the web dashboard at ai.aira.app. For a tool positioned as mobile-first, this is a real gap depending on what device you carry.

European data is meaningfully deeper than US data. If your accounts are mostly UK, Nordic, German, or pan-European, this is an advantage. If your accounts are predominantly US-based, you’ll find better data depth in Apollo or ZoomInfo.

No free trial is the buyer’s biggest complaint. €149 with no trial means you’re committing on faith or based on a demo. Some users get accepted into beta programs or short pilots through their account team; worth asking.

How it compares

Versus Apollo: Apollo is a database-and-outreach tool. Aira is a continuous intelligence agent. Apollo is cheaper and US-centric; Aira is premium and Europe-centric. Many sales teams will end up running both.

Versus Gong or Fireflies: Conversation intelligence specialists. Aira includes call recording and summaries as one feature among several rather than the core product. If conversation intelligence is your single biggest need, the dedicated tools go deeper.

Versus traditional CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive): Aira isn’t trying to replace these for teams that need formal pipeline reporting. For solo founders or fractional sales leaders without a real CRM, Aira can substitute. For sales orgs, it sits alongside the CRM as an intelligence layer.
