TextBases
Fast, free browser tools for text, writing, and developer workflows.
Around 30 no-signup browser utilities in one place, word counting, text cleanup, JSON and code formatting, encoders, and password or UUID generation, without ad-heavy clutter.
TextBases collects around 30 small browser utilities into one fast, no-signup site, the kind of tools you reach for a few times a week and would otherwise scatter across a dozen ad-heavy pages. Text tools cover word and character counting, reading time, cleanup, sorting, deduplication, case conversion, and slug generation, while developer tools handle JSON, HTML, CSS, SQL, YAML, and XML formatting alongside Base64, URL encoding, regex testing, and a Markdown previewer.
Generator and security utilities round it out with password generation, UUIDs, hashes, random strings, and Lorem Ipsum. The interface stays deliberately lightweight, search or pick a category and open the tool, no dashboards or setup, and nothing requires an account.
It’s refreshingly honest about its own limits. The FAQ tells you to review individual tool pages before pasting passwords or confidential data rather than blanket-claiming everything runs locally, and it’s clear it isn’t built for shared workspaces, saved history, or heavy batch processing. For quick everyday text and dev tasks, it’s a genuinely useful bookmark.
